The Setup checklist on the admin dashboard tracks the most important steps. Here is everything worth doing on a new site.
General: site name, description, logo, favicon and the default image for social media shares.
Appearance: colours, fonts, dark mode and which homepage sections are shown (see Changing Colours, Logo and Fonts).
Downloads: layout of the results page (buttons or a compact table), quick download buttons, and joining video with sound for platforms that serve them separately.
CAPTCHA and Quotas & Limits: protect the download form from bots and heavy users.
Advertising and Monetization: see Ads, Countdown and Short Links.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Plausible or Umami.
Admin → Platforms lists every supported platform. You can enable or disable each one, change its order and domains, and assign a proxy (Admin → Proxies). Moj and VK are disabled by default because they block many server IP addresses.
Languages and Translations: see Languages, Translations and Flags.
Menus: the header ("primary") and footer menus. Drag items to reorder or nest them.
Pages and Blog posts: every platform already has a landing page in all included languages. Pages, posts and categories have one tab per language.
Cleanup runs automatically while visitors use the site. On busy sites, add the hourly cron job shown in Admin → System check.
