AIO Video Downloader installs like a regular PHP website: no command line and no WordPress needed. Check the System Requirements article first.
In cPanel, open MySQL® Database Wizard. Create a database and a user, and give the user All privileges on the database. Write down the database name, username and password. On cPanel they include your account prefix, for example myuser_aio.
Open File Manager, go to public_html (or a subfolder such as public_html/download), upload aio-video-downloader-x.y.z.zip and choose Extract. Make sure files like index.php and install.php end up directly in that folder, not in an extra subfolder.
On Apache and LiteSpeed the zip contains a .htaccess file. It is hidden by default; turn on Show Hidden Files in the File Manager settings to check that it was extracted.
In Select PHP Version (or MultiPHP Manager), choose PHP 8.2 or newer.
Open https://your-domain.com/install.php and follow the steps:
Requirements: fix anything marked red, then continue. Folder permissions of 755 are normally enough. Items with a lightbulb are recommendations and can be skipped.
Database: enter the details from step 1. The host is usually localhost.
Install: creates the tables and default content.
Admin account and Site details.
The installer locks itself and deletes install.php. Sign in at https://your-domain.com/admin, then continue with First Steps After Installation.
Extract the zip into the subfolder (for example public_html/download) and open https://your-domain.com/download/install.php. Everything else works the same.
If URL rewriting is not available, the installer notices it and switches to links like index.php/en/blog. Nothing else changes.
